Anne Montera, MHL, BSN, RN

Anne Montera received a Master’s Degree in Health Leadership from Western Governors University and a BSN from Bethel College. She has over 25 years of nursing experience in Public Health, Labor and Delivery, Patient Safety/Quality Improvement, and EMS coordination in urban and rural hospitals and community settings. Ms. Montera is currently the Client Services Specialist and Community Paramedic Advisor for Pulsara. Her previous role was as the Senior VP of Quality for Ready Responders, where she worked to research, develop, and implement quality matrix to demonstrate program cost savings and health impact. She was also the Executive Director for the Central Mountains RETAC, supporting a 6-county EMS and Trauma region in Colorado. She is the Co-Creator and Public Health Partner for the first National Community Paramedic Pilot Program in rural Eagle, CO. She received the Colorado EMS Region of the Year award in 2019 and the Colorado Nightingale Luminary Award for Innovation work on the Colorado community paramedic program in 2011.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and 4 children, spread across the nation. She loves the beach, refinishing antique furniture, and decorating her house for each and every holiday.

Kris Kaull, BS, NRP, FP-C

Kris Kaull, BS, NRP, FP-C – Kris has driven innovation and positive change in EMS for over 26 years. After beginning his career as a firefighter and EMT, Kris started paramedic.com and co-founded EMS1.com, which today is the largest online paramedic resource. Kris is currently the Chief Marketing Officer at Pulsara, a healthcare and EMS tech start-up. He has worked as a firefighter captain, paramedic and ambulance service director and, most recently, practiced as a critical care flight paramedic covering Southwest rural MT and Yellowstone National Park. Kris regularly speaks and writes on topics ranging from technology to current clinical issues to leadership — all with a focus on the importance of the human connection.

As a dad of 2 and a husband of 1, Kris enjoys the outdoors and wishes he could spend more time in the mountains skiing, mountain biking, climbing, paddle boarding and furthering his quest to become a ninja.
