Western Berks Ambulance congratulates Nelcy Gamez for placing first in the State EMT competition held in Lancaster, PA on March 23rd. Nelcy, who has been in our training program since she began her EMT training, is a senior at Wilson High School. She is enrolled in the Berks Career and Technology Center’s Protective Services Program
Nelcy is our second EMT in as many years that have placed first in this State competition that is hosted by the Health Occupations Students of America. Congratulations Nelcy, and to her partner in the competition, Andrew LaFaver from Kutztown! Good luck at Nationals.
