Digitech was awarded the contract at the conclusion of a bid process.

The City of Burnsville, a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, is comprised of two stations that cover 27 square miles for its fire/rescue services and ALS ambulance transports. Burnsville will use Digitech’s billing services for the ambulance fleet that serves its community of more than 65,000. The 41-person paramedic-certified department made 4,441 emergency responses in 2005. Of those responses, 3,120 were EMS calls, and 1,321 were fire-related calls.
