LAKEVILLE, MN – ImageTrend announced it is upgrading its data connection to a dedicated fiber optic solution. The upgrade provides an ultra-high speed pipeline from the company’s Lakeville, Minn. headquarters to its servers in geographically diverse facilities. Upgrading from a copper-based connection to fiber optic means greater connection speed and reliability, while providing plenty of bandwidth for a growing customer base.
Installation of the underground cable started on December 22, 2010 and is expected to be completed in January 2011. The entire process will be a seamless transition for customers and is just one of the ways in which ImageTrend is a leader in data hosting. ImageTrend’s hosted solutions include a variety of implementations from emergency data systems that require fast, secure and reliable transmission of patient and incident data to real-time auctions for high-value industrial equipment.
