Poulsbo, WA - As our emergency responders put their lives on the line, a high degree of training is crucial—not only for the patients they serve, but for their own safety as well. Action Training Systems (ATS) is releasing a series of competency-based EMT courses to prepare our responders for real-life emergencies where seconds count.

It’s no accident that Americans are served by the best EMS system in the world. The National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards (NEMSES) define the minimum competencies required of all EMS personnel. ATS produces training resources that help emergency personnel train to NEMSES to ensure they meet this competency level.

The new EMS series provides up-to date, skill- based training that demonstrates assessment and care for a variety of medical and trauma related emergencies. Professional EMS personnel are used in the filming of ATS programs to exhibit authenticity of the skills that are demonstrated. All programs are reviewed by leading subject matter experts.

The company has also earned organizational accreditation from CECBEMS, the national accrediting body for EMS continuing education courses and course providers. All EMS interactive courses are CECBEMS approved for one CEH (continuing education hour). This is one of many long standing relationships ATS has with EMS educational organizations.
