Heegaard brings broad strategic experience leading business operations and corporate legal affairs to companies from start-ups and early-stage to mature businesses, and has also served on multiple boards of directors. He currently serves as President / CEO / General Counsel for Terras Iradient, Inc., a holding company and medical device incubator and accelerator. He has founded and sold, spun off or merged numerous medical device companies including Exos Corporation and Medtreo Inc, as well as HomeStyles Publishing, Inc. He is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
