ProTransport-1 and MedicOne named to Inc. 500|5000 list

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (Aug 2014) – EMS Redline Association is proud to announce two of our members, MedicOne Medical Response and ProTransport-1, have been honored on Inc. Magazine’s annual list of the nation’s fastest growing companies.

MedicOne Medical Response is our second member to make the list after being ranked No. 1975 overall. This year’s list marked the fourth consecutive time ProTransport-1 made the Inc. 500|5000, while being the only two ambulance companies featured on the entire list.

MedicOne has made the list for the first time in the company’s history after having grown 206-percent over the last three years. ProTransport-1’s three-year growth stands at 44-percent after increasing to nearly 800 employees serving 23 counties with more than 120 vehicles and 14 operations centers.

Both company’s growth and contributions to the EMS industry and our association can also be felt in the economy after the two have a combined 740 jobs over the last three years.

ProTransport-1 and MedicOne join the likes of Intuit, Zappos, Under Armor, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Oracle, and Pandora among Inc. 5000 honoree alumni. In 2014 alone, companies to join the list alongside ProTransport-1 and MedicOne included GoPro, Bridger, Fuhu, Lending Club, and Tough Mudder.
