SUNSET HILLS, Mo. — A St. Louis man wanted for questioning in a bank robbery is in critical condition after being hit by an ambulance as he walked along a highway Friday morning.
Joseph Haring, 27, walked into the path of the private ambulance, and while the ambulance tried to swerve out the way, it couldn’t avoid hitting him, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Police had been seeking Haring since a robbery Wednesday at a Reliance Bank branch in St. Louis County, according to the report.
