FDNY EMT arraigned in hit-and-run death

NEW YORK — An FDNY EMT was arraigned for leaving the scene of an auto fatality in Greenburgh, N.Y. last March, according to the Westchester County district attorney’s office.

Scott Desimone, 35, of Hawthorne, N.Y., was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death. He faces up to seven years in prison.

Bail was set at $15,000 bond, $7,500 cash. His next court date is set for July 25.
