CYPRESS, Texas — A heart attack survivor thanked the EMS crew who saved him.
Click2Houston reported that Kevin Kendrick reunited with the Cypress Creek EMS crew that used a defibrillator to bring his pulse back after he collapsed at an urgent care center, where he went to get his chest pains checked out.
“In my head, it clicked right away: Mr. Kevin was having a heart attack,” Cypress Creek EMS provider V. Miller said.
Kendrick was shocked four times in the ambulance with a defibrillator while he was rushed to a hospital.
“He was in the right place at the right time. He had the right crew, had the right staff at the hospital doing exactly what needed to be done,” EMS provider Jonathan Coyle said.
“I’ve experienced unbelievable things. It’s a miracle I am here and I realize that. I’m indebted to you all forever,” Kendrick said.
