MANATEE, Fla. — A 24-year-old pregnant Manatee County emergency medical technician was assaulted while trying to render aid to a patient.
The pregnant EMS worker, who is 5-foot-9, had responded to Mulligans, 5526 15th St. E., at 11:56 p.m. Saturday to treat a female patient in the parking lot of the establishment, according to a Manatee County Sheriff’s Office report.
The patient’s brother, who is listed at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds, came into the parking lot, clenched his hands in fists and began to make threatened remarks to the EMT, the report states.
