SPOKANE, Mo. — A paramedic who was stabbed at an ambulance base was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The CoxHealth medic reported an “attack of an unknown subject,” Christian County Ambulance District executive administrator Kasha Driskill told the Christian County Headliner News.
The stabbing occurred March 31 just before 10 p.m. at the Spokane Ambulance District on Highway 160.
The Christian County Sheriff’s Department is investigating, and the injured medic provided a detailed statement of the incident.
Detectives say it was an isolated event.
