PHOENIX, N.Y. — A man was arrested for assaulting a paramedic in the back of an ambulance during transport.
Oswego County Today reported that Lawrence J. Kline, 53, was being transported by ambulance to a hospital after complaining of back pain. Kline, who appeared to be intoxicated, became violent during the transport. He swung at the paramedic several times, according to the report.
Kline eventually struck the paramedic in the chest, fracturing her rib.
He was arrested for assault in the second degree.
