Vehicle-crash patient punches medic in face
An allegedly intoxicated man assaulted an AMR paramedic who tried to treat him for his injuries after a vehicle crash. The man yelled insults at the medic, threw his shirt at him and finally punched the medic in the face, the Times Record News reported.

Woman punches, spits on medic on way to hospital
A woman, probably intoxicated, punched and spat on a paramedic who was transporting her to a hospital. The woman had been acting erratically while at a motel, yelling and breaking a window. When police arrived she appeared to be having a medical emergency. Police also found a straw with a white, powdery residue on it and multiple pill bottles in her room, the Stevens Point Journal reported.

Overdose patient spits on medic, kicks nurse, cop
A 21-year-old man allegedly overdosing from Xanax spat in a female paramedic’s eye and kicked a nurse as they were giving him medical assistance. He also allegedly kicked a police officer. Paramedics had responded to a 911 call for a man who “may have taken 11 Xanax,” the Union Leader reported.

Drunk patient threatens to rape, kill, bury student paramedic
An ambulance was called outside a pub in the U.K. for a 53-year-old man with chest pain. Once the man was in the back of the ambulance he allegedly told the student medic, “That’s what I am going to do with you. I am going to find out where you live. I’m going to beat your face with a hammer, stab you, rape you and bury you in an allotment,” The Stoke Sentinel reported.
