SAVANNAH, Ga. — A suspect was arrested after a Chatham Emergency Services paramedic and two EMTs were assaulted, WTOC reported Thursday.
The providers were responding to a call about a person passed out in the lobby bathroom of a J.W. Marriott, according to Chuck Kearns, CEO of Chatham Emergency Services.
Kearns said the three providers were attacked but only the paramedic suffered injuries. He said all three would be fine.
“If you assault EMS personnel, you will be arrested, and we will press charges,” Kearns said.
