AUSTIN-TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas Since noon on Monday 26 people have been sickened by the synthetic marijuana commonly known as K2, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.
The agency first reported Monday evening that medics were seeing a spike in such overdoses.
By 5:30 p.m., they responded to 18 incidents, all downtown between Congress Avenue and Interstate 35, officials said.
