BARTOW, Fla. — A paramedic and a sheriff’ deputy were trapped inside a patrol car after a live power pole fell on it during Hurricane Irma.

ABC10 reported that Polk County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chris Lynn and Polk County Fire Rescue paramedic James Schaill had just dropped a patient off at the hospital when the pole, along with live wire, fell onto the patrol car.
