Mo. paramedic accused of burglarizing patient’s home

MOBERLY, Mo. — A paramedic was arrested and accused of burglarizing a patient’s home, according to officials.

Columbia Tribune reported that Randolph County Ambulance District paramedic Richelle Grapes was found in the home of a patient who had recently been transported to the hospital after police responded to a call about suspicious activity.

Grapes was arrested on suspicion of first-degree burglary, and she was immediately suspended without pay.

“She has been suspended as the investigation proceeds,” Randolph County Ambulance District Director Clay Joiner said. “She was suspended since we were contacted by the police.”
