MUNCIE, Ind. — A woman was arrested after allegedly biting a paramedic.
Ball State Daily reported that police responded to a call about an intoxicated woman causing trouble, and said they found Deanna Reyneveld crawling on the floor, screaming profanities and swinging her arms “like a small child.”
According to an affidavit, Reyneveld “became increasing violent” after EMS arrived and kicked a police officer and hit him with her shoe.
As paramedics loaded her into the ambulance, Reyneveld allegedly began hitting a paramedic and bit his hand. At the hospital, the staff had to restrain her.
Reyneveld also allegedly tried to run from police as she was being transported to the jail, but an officer took her down.
