CHIPPEWA TWP., Pa. — A state police trooper and an emergency medical technician are being hailed as heroes for helping to rescue a Chippewa Township man from his smashed, burning car Wednesday night.
Chippewa Township police officer David C. Huffman said Aaron Freed’s legs were on fire as he was pulled out of the car.
“I believe that if it hadn’t been for the fire extinguishers and us dragging him out, I don’t think he would’ve made it,” Huffman said.
