Rescue crews came to the aid of one of their co-workers this morning, after the vehicle she was driving was struck by a tractor-trailer at McGee’s Crossroads.
The 25-year-old woman, whose name is being withheld by the State Highway Patrol, crashed just before 7 a.m., at the intersection of Old Fairground Road and N.C. 210.
She is an EMT with the 50/210 Fire Department, which responded to the scene, according to investigating Trooper D.L. Mobley. ...
