JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — A naked man armed with a shotgun fired numerous shots in Johnstown overnight, leaving some emergency crews and residents fearing for their lives.
Police said they rushed to the city’s 7th Ward after numerous people called 911 and reported a naked man was walking around Cedar Street firing off a gun.
When police arrived, William Layton Jr., 31, was on the phone with 911 inside the 7th Ward Ambulance Center. Police found the windows of the center smashed. Police said the scariest part was that Layton was inside a radio room with a 12-gauge shotgun while EMS workers were hiding in another room.
