MONROE, Ohio — Nearly four months after Monroe County officials chose a new ambulance company, contract negotiations with the company remain unsettled and incomplete.
Meanwhile, at least two townships have declined a recent request by the county’s Emergency Medical Authority to join its countywide ambulance service until a contract with Monroe Community Ambulance is signed.
The medical authority’s contract negotiations committee met with Monroe Community Ambulance officials last week, but no progress was made on key issues.
