WASHINGTON — D.C. Fire Chief Adrian Thompson says he wants all the city’s ambulances to be advanced life support units.
Thompson testified Monday before the D.C. Council. Members are looking for ways to improve the city’s emergency medical response system in the aftermath of last month’s fatal attack on journalist David Rosenbaum.
The city is investigating whether the fire and EMS Department responded appropriately after Rosenbaum was beaten near his Northwest Washington home.
