HOUSTON — The driver of a pickup truck that crashed into a Houston ambulance Saturday night was taken into custody for a DWI investigation, police said.
The Houston Fire Department rig had its lights and sirens activated and was responding to a call when the truck crashed into its side at an intersection, according to KHOU 11. The two firefighters who were inside the rig were not injured in the crash.
The driver was given a field sobriety test and taken into custody to be processed in the ongoing investigation, police said.
