HERTFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Two members of Hertford County EMS were injured in a fatal crash.
An “EMS truck” collided with a white Honda, killing two of the three people inside the vehicle, WITN reported.
The two EMS providers were injured and taken to an area hospital; they have since been released.
Stacey Newsome, 29, who was driving the Honda, was killed in the crash, as well as the left rear passenger, Antia Edwards.
The third passenger in the Honda, Shanequa Jenkins, is in critical condition.
The crash is under investigation.
