A First Responder ambulance was involved in an accident following a response to a collision Wednesday afternoon.
One person was injured in a traffic collision at the intersection of Mitchell Avenue and Lincoln Street on Wednesday. Oroville City firefighters and Oroville police officers responded to the scene along with a First Responder ambulance.
Paramedics placed an injured female patient from one of the vehicles into the ambulance. Then one of the damaged vehicles slipped off the tow truck and rolled into the First Responder ambulance, resulting in minor damage to the ambulance, but with no injuries to the occupants. The female patient, who received some minor to moderate injuries from the previous collision, was transported to the Oroville Hospital.
