Details: The purpose of the workshop is to disseminate findings from the three Institute of Medicine reports on the future of emergency care. The workshop will provide an opportunity for stakeholders to discuss the issues raised in the reports; explore the implications of the IOM recommendations at the federal, state, and local levels; and consider implementation strategies.
This workshop, the second in a series of four, will include afternoon sessions focused on workforce
issues and hospital efficiency.
