ESO expands pre-hospital suite to create an integrated digital hub for emergency responders.

ESO Solutions, Inc. today unveiled ESO FIRE, the latest addition to its pre-hospital suite of software products for EMS and fire agencies. The application greatly simplifies the process for reporting important fire incident data to the National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) while integrating with other industry-leading ESO applications to create an integrated digital hub, helping EMS and fire agencies maximize efficiencies—crucial in today’s environment of limited funding and resources.
Integration with Other Software Applications, Enhanced Efficiencies
ESO FIRE dramatically reduces redundant data entry for fire-based EMS systems. These systems, which provide emergency medical services through the fire service, are required to complete two reports per call: a fire report for NFIRS, and an electronic patient care report (ePCR) for NEMSIS (the National EMS Information System) or their state department of health’s trauma program. ESO FIRE integrates with ESO’s flagship ePCR product, enabling providers to simply complete the ePCR and import the data into their NFIRS report.
Integrated Digital Hub Connects with Healthcare System
The vision for a connected healthcare system—where all healthcare systems are seamlessly integrated and critical health information is available when and where it is needed—is shared by many. However, realizing this vision remains a challenge. In a recent Accenture survey, 73% of health care providers stated that integrating data from multiple sources is the top technical goal of their organization over the next two years.
ESO’s pre-hospital software suite helps realize the connected healthcare vision by seamlessly connecting the pre-hospital industry—where medicine is practiced in the field—with the greater healthcare ecosystem, facilitating the access and sharing of information as well as subsequent analysis of health data across healthcare systems.
At the core of is an integrated digital hub, the foundation for easily storing, analyzing, and sharing information. The addition of ESO FIRE enables EMS and fire agencies to integrate their data into one single hub and represents a continued commitment by ESO to offer solutions that improve data collection and connect the pre-hospital industry with the healthcare ecosystem while helping EMS and fire agencies streamline operations.
“Our goal is to continue creating software that helps emergency service providers do their jobs more efficiently and more effectively,” said Chris Dillie, President and CEO of ESO Solutions. “The launch of ESO FIRE represents another big step toward making the ESO Suite an all-in-one solution for emergency medical services and fire administrators.”
