NEW YORK — An EMT and two others were injured Monday night after an ambulance with lights and sirens crashed, jumped a curb and came dangerously close to hitting a building.
The EMT, a pedestrian and one other person were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, reported NBC New York.
The ambulance had been responding to a cardiac arrest call before the crash, said the FDNY.
While an investigation will determine what caused the crash, witnesses said the ambulance was making a turn when it hit a car and jumped the curb.
