PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — A paramedic was killed in a motorcycle accident after crashing into a car on the highway.
The Desert Sun reported that Edward Lustro, 34, was driving his motorcycle Monday morning before colliding with a Honda sedan.
Emergency responders recognized Lustro and covered his body with an American flag before he was removed from the scene.
A procession of 15 ambulances and AMR vehicles followed the van carrying Lustro’s body.
The cause of the collision are under investigation, though police say it does not appear that drugs or alcohol was a factor.
