The past three winning heroes are announced along with their amazing choking rescue stories, as well as news stories, photos and video clips featuring the award winning Anti Choking Trainer on The Dr. Oz Show, at the San Francisco Paramedic Association’s Side Walk CPR event and elsewhere in the media.

Monthly updates on the blog’s “In the Spotlight” entry will feature various organizations that are making a difference in the world of emergency medical training, such as the San Francisco Paramedic Association, Ohio’s Heartsafe Kids program and the Canadian ACT High School CPR program.

Entries for the upcoming “Everyone Can Be a Hero!” contest are due April 30th. To enter, log onto our blog site: http://blog.actfastmed.com click on: http://www.facebook.com/actfasttrainer where you can post your choking rescue story. And ... drumroll please… the winner of this contest will receive an Anti Choking Trainer and have their story featured on Act Fast’s Blog and Facebook page.

The Act Fast Anti Choking Trainer is a user-friendly, lightweight neoprene vest that boasts a ground breaking design that aids students from children to adults in learning the Abdominal Thrust Maneuver (Heimlich) in a realistic manner. CPR instructors describe it as the “fun” part of their courses and are satisfied that their students “get it” because if they don’t employ the correct technique, the obstruction (foam dart) won’t be expelled from the vest.
