ENGLAND — A drunken senior paramedic disgusted colleagues when he put some of his pubic hair on their food at an East of England Ambulance Trust Christmas party, a disciplinary panel heard yesterday.
Kevin Hamlyn, a duty operations manager, is also accused of making lewd gestures with a long balloon and quizzing one attractive reveller about her sex life.
Hungarian-born Ildiko Vida, who had gone to the party with her boyfriend, said Hamlyn was ‘very drunk’ when he arrived at the East of England Ambulance Trust do. A three-course meal had been laid on for staff at the Marriott Hotel in Peterborough in December 2010.
