WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Two medics escaped without injury after having a gun accidentally pointed at them during an emergency call in Wilkinsburg.

Channel 4 Action News’ Amber Nicotra reported that an Eastern Area Prehospital Services crew was called to the 1700 block of McNary Boulevard because of reports of a person having a stroke.

“Sometimes we don’t get acknowledgement so we have to force our way in to make sure they are not in cardiac arrest,” said Stephen Shurgot of Eastern Area Prehospital Services.
