SAN ANTONIO, Texas — A man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly attacking a paramedic inside an ambulance.
An Acadian Ambulance crew was transporting a man to University Hospital around 2:30 a.m. when he grabbed a female paramedic and began choking her, then jumped out of the ambulance and fled down the highway, KSAT.com reports.
Police located him and took him into custody, and did not say why he was being transported.
The medic suffered bruising on her neck and arms, police said.
