INVERNESS, Fla. — A 29-year-old motorcyclist was killed after an ambulance attempting to turn left across his lane collided with the bike.
WFLA 8 reported that a Nature Coast ambulance was traveling on US41 as it approached East Apex Lane when the driver attempted to take a left into the path of the motorcyclist, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The biker was taken to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
