BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Seven people were injured in a five-vehicle crash involving an ambulance in Kentucky on Tuesday.

Two Butler County EMS providers and their patient were among those injured in the collision, according to WBKO.

Police said the ambulance had full lights and sirens when it entered an intersection against a red light, colliding with a car, sideswiping another car and then striking an additional car, which was pushed into a fourth car.

The seven injured victims were transported to the hospital with minor injuries, officials said.
