WEST SENECA, N.Y. — An ambulance transporting a patient in New York was involved in a head-on collision that left the driver of the car and two paramedics injured.
The Buffalo News reported the car crossed into oncoming traffic and struck the ambulance head-on.
One paramedic suffered head and leg injuries and the other sustained a minor cut to the head. The driver of the car suffered a serious head injury. The patient was not injured in the collision.
Both paramedics and the driver were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The driver was ticketed for having unsafe tires, failing to keep right and driving without a seatbelt.
