DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — Two Georgia EMS providers and a third person were injured in an ambulance crash on Monday night.
DeKalb Fire Rescue officials said two American Medical Response employees and one person in the ambulance who was not an AMR employee became trapped and were freed by fire-rescue personnel, according to 11 Alive. It is unclear whether the third person was a patient being transported at the time of the crash.
The two EMS providers sustained minor injuries, officials said, and the third person sustained moderate injuries. Authorities did not release further details about the crash.
