PRESS RELEASE
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — The process began with a rigorous four-month field evaluation. Before the trial commenced, EMS Chief Gregory Pollock proactively sought peer-to-peer insights by consulting with colleagues at the Anchorage, Shoreline and Bellevue Fire Departments.
Their strong endorsements—grounded in years of experience with WEINMANN—contributed to a successful pilot and ultimately led to a full-system rollout. Chief Pollock chose to fully equip every ambulance in Pasco County with the MEDUMAT Easy CPR, maximizing clinical impact and standardizing care across the system.
The MEDUMAT Easy CPR is a mobile emergency ventilator that delivers controlled, automatic ventilation, enabling responders to maintain consistent ventilation rates and tidal volumes. It also incorporates pressure limits to help prevent excessive airway pressures—while freeing up hands at the scene compared to manual BVM ventilation.
