Presented by Medtronic
Free on-demand webinar on capnography and airway management in the prehospital environment.
About the webinar:
From eupnea to dead in bed, the dyspneic patient will follow a predictable and progressive decline in their respiratory status if an appropriate assessment and treatment is not assertively initiated. Join us for this interactive discussion where we address respiratory distress, failure, and arrest and how capnography can aid in the assessment, treatment, and reassessment of your patient.
What you’ll learn:
1. Given a patient with a patient in respiratory distress, the learner will be able to discuss the pathophysiology, assessment, and management of that patient.
2. Given a patient with a patient in respiratory failure, the learner will be able to discuss the pathophysiology, assessment, and management of that patient.
3. Given a patient with a complaint of dyspnea, the learner will be able to differentiate between respiratory distress and respiratory failure.
4. Given a patient in respiratory arrest, the learner will be able to select the appropriate management techniques.
