Harrison Ford rescues woman from car crash

The Santa Paula Fire Department said Ford was leaving the airport and was among other vehicles that were stopped after a woman veered off the road

SANTA PAULA, Calif. — Harrison Ford helped rescue a driver who veered off the highway Sunday morning.

Independent reported that the actor, who was leaving the airport and was one of many cars that were stopped as a result of the crash, jumped into action to help the woman after she lost control of her vehicle.

Ford rescued the woman from the vehicle and stayed with her until an EMS crew arrived on the scene.

A Santa Paula Fire Department spokesperson said the driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
