INDIANAPOLIS — Colleagues paid tribute to two fallen brothers who were killed in the line of duty four years ago.
Indianapolis EMS private Timothy McCormick, 24, and specialist Cody Medley, 22, were in their ambulance when they were struck by a distracted driver Feb. 16, 2013.
McCormick joined the department as an EMT in 2010 and was heavily involved in IEMS community outreach efforts. Medley also joined the department in 2010 and was remembered for his passion for EMS.
“At this time, we salute both Tim and Cody and all of those in public safety who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Your work and energy lives on in us every day,” Indianapolis EMS wrote on Facebook.
