Paramedics drop Olympic gymnast with broken leg

Video has surfaced of a stretcher falling out of the ambulance while carrying the French gymnast

RIO DE JANEIRO — French gymnast Samir Ait Said broke his leg upon landing during the qualification rounds for his event at the Olympic Games in Rio.

Reuters reports via The Independent that that this wasn't the first time Ait Said has received injuries of this nature. The athlete was also forced to pull out of the 2012 Games because of an accident that fractured his leg in three places.

Video has surfaced of Ait Said being dropped last Saturday while being loaded onto the back of an ambulance. He was in a stretcher at the time.
