ANGELINA COUNTY, Texas — EMT Joshua Zaborowski, 30, was killed when the ambulance he was driving left the roadway and overturned. Zaborowski was transporting a patient from Jasper county to Lufkin for Allegiance Mobile Health, KLTV reported.  

He was pronounced dead at the scene at about 1 a.m.

Members from Angelina County Sheriff’s office and the Fuller Springs Volunteer Fire department responded to the wreck.

DPS reported Zaborowski was driving north on US 69, when he veered into the southbound lane and struck an SUV, continuing on briefly before leaving the road and overturning. A passenger, the patient on board and the driver of the SUV were taken to a Lufkin hospital, according to the KLTV report.
