AUSTRALIA — The documentary "Paramédico: Around the World by Ambulance," which follows the travels of an Australian paramedic as he visits EMS departments from around the world, is now available to watch for free online.
In the film, released in 2013, Australian Paramedic Benjamin Gilmour travels to cities in Mexico, the United States, Italy and Pakistan documenting the lives and work of EMS providers from each country. Gilmour also published a book by the same title that documents his travels over a 15-year period.
"Each location has its own storyline and cast of characters that comes together to tell a captivating story of the similarities of paramedics around the world," Rob Lawrence, principal of Robert Lawrence Consulting, noted.
"A gift to fellow emergency workers around the world during this difficult time," a statement posted on the Facebook page for the film read. "Hope it makes you smile! Stay safe out there."
