VICTORVILLE, Calif. — Deputies took a man into custody after witnesses saw him running around naked and yelling in front of a Dollar Tree on Thursday afternoon, County Fire Engineer Chris Larrison told the Daily Press.
According to Larrison, he and two other firefighters stopped to get lunch at Panda Express on Highway 395 and Palmdale Road in Victorville when a woman came in and started yelling about a naked man running around in front of the Dollar Tree at approximately 12:51 p.m. Larrison said the woman told him the naked man had climbed into their fire truck after attempting to go inside the store.
Larrison and the other firefighters rushed over to their truck to find the man sitting inside the vehicle. Larrison said they detained the man and called medical aid and San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies to come pick him up.
