INDIANAPOLIS — Miami-Dade Fire Rescue won this year’s JEMS Games.
The team includes Capt. Alejandro Lozano, Capt. Michael Ung and Lt. Desi Monteavaro.
The Journal of Emergency Medical Services Conference and Expo is co-located with FDIC 2022.
The JEMS Games is a clinical competition using simulation technology. The preliminary round involves assessing and providing care during three high-pressure scenarios. Only three teams move on to the final round, where they compete in a 20-minute scenario that requires managing multiple patients.
