Siloed data. Incompatible systems. Broken handoffs. Security vulnerabilities. Missed opportunities. Systemic uncertainty.
Innovation within revenue cycle management has been the result of incremental efforts to improve upon system architectures with foundations in antiquated and fragmented processes.
Interoperable system solutions enable the collection of data when it presents itself in the fluid EMS environment, rather than reliance on collection windows scattered across the engagement lifecycle. This dynamic collection capability – fronted by robust, intelligent and consistent user interfaces across user types – feeds a database which serves as the single source of truth.
The transition from multiple storage mechanisms to a single database enables enhanced data security. It allows multiple sources of information to continually refine and validate the information collected that is not possible in historically siloed systems. The result is an accurate, robust and scalable solution, ready to support ongoing innovation through seamless introduction of new data-centric capabilities.
Eric Foust will address in a Pinnacle webinar, “Maximize Revenue Cycle Performance with Interoperable System Solutions,” on Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at 1 p.m. CT.
“In this webinar, learn how Integra Connect is redefining information acquisition and management in RCM and how it benefits all stakeholders across the patient-engagement lifecycle continuum,” says Foust.
