The social media team will be recording podcasts, vendor interviews, and videos with attendees for immediate distribution through EMSExpoLive.com.

“Social media can enhance the experience of conference attendees and can include EMS professionals that can’t attend by sharing the conference with them as it happens,” explained Greg Friese president of EPS411.com, blogger, and co-host of the EMSEduCast.

Chris Montera, an EMS chief and host of the EMS Garage podcast says that “EMSExpoLive.com is meant to enhance the conference experience. We are encouraging all attendees to participate by joining us for a live podcast recording, tag Flickr photos with EMSExpo2009 and Twitter about the event using the hash code #EMSExpo.”

Chris Montera added “EMS Expo is a place where EMS personnel can connect with industry leaders and fellow professionals to exchange ideas, best practices and stories. It is important that we take time to learn and stay innovative.”

This will be the first EMS industry conference with a coordinated social media presence that will include blogging, podcasting, and web video production.
